For this project, Shire Driveways and Patios Derby transformed a client’s garden with a 600×600 Bradstone porcelain dark grey patio, complemented by charcoal omega edging and jet black grout.
To complete the makeover, we also installed 85 square meters of fresh turf, giving the garden a sleek yet natural finish.

The Installation Process
- Ground Preparation: We cleared the existing garden, removing any old materials, debris, and uneven surfaces. The ground was leveled and prepared with a solid sub-base to ensure stability.
- Porcelain Patio Installation:
- 600×600 Bradstone Porcelain Dark Grey slabs were carefully laid to create a smooth and modern surface.
- Charcoal Omega edging was installed to define the patio area and provide a sleek contrast.
- Jet black grout was used to enhance the look and create a seamless finish.
- Turfing:
- The ground was prepped with high-quality topsoil to support healthy grass growth.
- 85 square meters of fresh turf was carefully laid, ensuring a lush, even surface.
- The turf was watered and compacted for a professional finish.
The Result
The completed garden now features a stunning modern patio with a smooth porcelain finish, perfect for outdoor seating and dining. The lush new lawn adds warmth and contrast, creating a balanced outdoor space that’s both stylish and practical.
